Description: Fenagh worked with Global Precast, Inc. providing Quality Assurance material testing and inspection services for the Ritz Carlton Hotel located at 1185 Broadway in New York City. This development will create 150,000 sq ft of space and will come with 250 guest rooms and 16 residential units. The amenities for guests and residents will include a spa, fitness center, bicycle parking, public ground-floor restaurant with a bar, and rooftop bar. 1185 Broadway is expected to be complete by late 2020 or early 2021.

Scope of Work: We performed onsite testing & inspections of post-installed anchors and concrete cores, including coring of precast panels in order to facilitate bond testing in accordance with ASTM 1583-04- Standard Test Method for Tensile Strength of Concrete Surfaces and the Bond Strength or Tensile Strength of Concrete Repair and Overlay Materials by Direct Tension (Pull-off Method).
