River House Generator Install, 435 E 52nd Street
Manhattan, New York
Description: River House has ranked among the city’s most prestigious apartment buildings ever since its 1931 opening. The 26-story, landmarked high-rise sits on the East 52nd Street cul-de-sac that faces the East River. Beaux-Arts and Art Deco motifs mix with eclectic elegance from the eagle-flanked, wrought-iron driveway gate to the tip of the curved, bell-like pinnacle. The palatial co-op features a garden, a fitness center, a swimming pool, and full concierge service. The units, some of which span full floors, feature duplex levels, and include fireplaces, have housed a large number of luminaries and celebrities over the decades. This project involved the installation of a new generator at River House.
