BAM Park, 632 Fulton Street
Brooklyn, New York
Description: Fort Greene’s BAM Park, after being closed for more than a decade with “unstable ground”, has undergone a $3.2 million full revamp. The new park will include plantings, seating areas, and pathways, while preserving most of the existing trees. The big fence that currently surrounds the park will be removed to improve accessibility and better integrate into the streetscape. There will be a raised concrete deck, creating additional seating. Funding for the project has been divided between the city and state, with the city providing $1.1 million in funding and the state offering an additional $2.1 million.
Scope of Work: Fenagh’s work on this project consisted of ultrasonic testing of the Park Bridge, as well as other welding inspections, masonry inspections, and laboratory testing. Learn more about Fenagh’s services here.
