Derby Street

Hingham, Massachusetts

Description: A state road improvement project on Derby Street, which began construction in spring of 2018, will add sidewalks, bicycle lanes and a new travel lane, as well as realign Route 3 ramps and Old Derby Street. Work is expected to be finished in April 2020. When finished, Old Derby Street will meet with the Route 3 ramps to create a four-way, signalized intersection. The project is expected to cost just short of $5 million.
