Description: Fenagh worked with PEAK Project Management, Shawmut Design and Construction, Ostrow Electric Company, J&M Brown CO, Capco Steel Erection, and American Plumbing & Heating Corp, on renovations to the Luxury, 5-Star Langham Hotel in Boston, Massachusetts. The historic landmark and hotel is undergoing a significant redesign and restoration that includes all guest rooms, lobby, and dining establishments. Scheduled to re-open in Fall 2020, The Langham’s extensive renovation will reinstate and reposition it as one of the top historic luxury hotels in the country.

Scope of Work: We performed visual inspection of firestopping materials per ASTM E814 and UL263 test standards, as well as laboratory testing involving fireproofing density and cohesion/adhesion samples. Our services also entailed structural steel inspections, including field welding visual inspections and UT/MT testing. Learn more about Fenagh’s services here.
