Nantucket New Fire Station, 4 Fairgrounds Road

Description: The Nantucket Fire Station project is new construction of an approximately 24,000 square foot, 2-story, structural steel framed Fire Station. Construction abutted the existing Public Safety Building constructed by Dellbrook | JKS in 2009 and included apparatus bays, decontamination and laundry rooms, as well as scuba and oxygen fill stations. To meet the growing community’s needs and future workload, the new Fire Station provided ample administration offices and conference rooms, communication equipment rooms, locker and bunk rooms for the Fire Department staff.

Scope of Work: For this project Fenagh provided reinforcing steel inspections, concrete inspections, fireproofing inspections, steel non-destructive testing, floor flatness & levelness (FF/FL) testing, soil inspections, masonry testing, and more. Learn more about Fenagh’s services here.
