Wannacomet Water Company New Building, 1 Milestone Rd

Description: Wannacomet Water Company strives to provide high quality drinking water, provide the highest level of customer and water related support services achievable, and educate and inform the public of the need to protect Nantucket’s water resources. The Wannacomet Water Department project consisted of new construction of a 4,800 sf slab on grade building containing private and shared offices, public customer lobby, restroom facilities, copy room, kitchen/employee lounge, conference rooms and locker room facilities. New parking areas totaling 25 spaces and new concrete walkways were installed. New landscaping and new parking were constructed in the location of the previous water company building. The old 5,000 sf one-story building was removed in phases in order to complete the construction of the new building and parking areas.
