Superpile 21 Recap
SuperPile 2021 was a success! Thank you to everyone who took the time to chat with us and learn more about our services. Our Fenagh team is looking forward to reconnecting with you and working together on a future project.
Fenagh Engineering and Testing is one of a few firms certified by Caltrans for California Test Method 233 (CT233), Gamma Gamma Logging (GGL). GGL is a nondestructive test used for quality assurance of CIDH piles or concrete walls and requires a probe that contains a radioactive source to indirectly determine the concrete’s homogeneity and structural integrity. This test is an essential part of many California transportation projects that have bridges and overcrossings on highways.
In addition to providing GGL, Fenagh has also performed Crosshole Sonic Logging (CSL) per ASTM D6760. CSL is a method used to access the integrity of deep foundation elements, in conjunction with or instead of GGL. CSL can also identify the severity, depth, and lateral location of potential concrete anomalies.
